First and Second Grades Activities.

Daily Keyboarding 10-15 minutes. 

 

Activity 1

Follow the Directions to learn how to keyboard.  The number thing to work on at home!   When you've completed these lessons.  Dance Mat is for 1st Grade.  TypingClub is for second grade.   If you use an email to sign in, TypingClub will retain your lesson progress.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Activity 2

Learning to code for non-readers.  Using videos and games to learn computer science  and coding basics.  12 Lessons, when you are done, Email Mr. Morris
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Activity 3

Go to Sketchpad.com and use the pencil.   Now click on the down button next to the pencil and draw, use the following items.   Star, Stamp, Mirror Brush, Web, Spirograph.  Play around with it.  Draw a Spring Picture!  Have Fun!

 

 

 

 

 

Activity 4

Go your favorite browser, with a parent, we are doing word searchs for images.    Look up at words like Bats, Cats, Hats.   What "at" words can you find.   Now look up ig words like rig, big.....  Think of other three letter words you can find!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Activity 5

This one is not hard, but it requires a parent to help their students set up a words book, and/or diary, in google docs, or ms word.     Each day the student will write a short story or description of their day.    Thank you for helping our student learn!
